As a fourth year mechanical engineering undergraduate, I was involved in a capstone team. The goal for our team was to build a corrosion testing machine that is reliable and easy to use, and which is capable of running salt water immersion tests for a period of one month or more. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were not able to include hot water test options in the final device. Despite this, it is capable of room temperature and cold water tests.
